‘The Masked Singer’ revealed: La Toya Jackson all smiles as she thanks fans for ‘supporting the Alien’ [WATCH]

“Thank you so much for supporting me [and] supporting the Alien,” La Toya Jackson said after her dramatic unmasking in the seventh episode of “The Masked Singer.” After the Alien was voted the weakest singer by the studio audience and judges Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke and J.B. Smoove, she was forced to take off her mask in front of America. While at-home sleuths had pegged La Toya as Alien, only Nicole and Robin correctly guessed her true identity on the air. Backstage after the show wrapped, La Toya said, “This experience was absolutely fabulous. It was wonderful. I enjoyed every single moment of it. It felt wonderful being anonymous. I’m glad that people got the chance to see a different side of my personality.”

Speaking about the Jackson family as a whole, La Toya noted, “People have a tendency because you come from a large family to pre-judge each individual, and this way they didn’t know who was performing behind that mask.” For her final performance La Toya took on Elle King‘s “Ex’s & Oh’s.”

La Toya is no stranger to reality TV shows, having previously appeared on two seasons of “Celebrity Apprentice” alongside future President Donald Trump as well as “Armed & Famous” (2007) and “Life With La Toya” (2013-14). In fact, it was her stint on “Armed & Famous” in which she trained to become a reserve police officer and received the police badge that became her physical clue last time.
